You've asked and we've listened... For the first time ever, we will be taking a trip to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! So plan on spending your Thanksgiving day with us at the Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!!

Macy's will be ready to serve up another healthy helping of fun and laughter at the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, also known as "America's Parade." On Thanksgiving Day, the Parade begins at 9:00 am, where 10,000 Macy's employees, volunteers and all-around Parade enthusiasts will convene to kick off the longest running "show" in New York City. To the delight of millions of spectators along the line of the parade route, wondrous balloons, fantastic floats, heart-pounding marching bands and hordes of clowns will fill the streets of the Big Apple at the sound of LET'S HAVE A PARADE!

In 2009, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade marched down a new route. After 85 years of parading down Broadway, Macy's moved the whole parade to a new route along 7th Avenue. It will begin at 77th Street and Central Park West, march south on Central Park West, then turn east and continue along Central Park South to 7th Avenue to 42nd Street, then travel east along 42nd Street to 6th Avenue. At 6th Avenue, the parade will head south again and march to 34th Street and Herald Square. Parade organizers say you will have the best views on Central Park West, between 61st and 72nd Streets.

Entertaining children big and small since 1924, the Parade's #1 priority has always been to put smiles on faces and laughter in the air. With returning friends and a few new ones, this year's Parade promises to be the biggest and best one yet!
